Frequently Asked Questions
In a multi gateway setup, each entrance (or building) can be set up so calls route to the right resident list and the right forwarding rules. You can also label each entrance using Caller ID naming, so staff and residents can tell which gate or door is calling at a glance.
Yes. The system is designed to use programmed forwarding numbers, so residents can receive calls on cell phones, home phones, or other numbers you assign. When you need to troubleshoot or make changes, support is handled by a live agent, and you can use your own test numbers to verify call flow while a tech is onsite.
The gateways need a stable internet connection on site to place and receive calls. If the network is unreliable, we’ll recommend best practices like using a business grade connection, proper network configuration, and, when needed, adding a backup connection so the entry system can keep dialing out. If a disruption happens, our support team can help troubleshoot call path and confirm whether the issue is local internet, network settings, or upstream service.
